About Us
We are Boise’s only year-round day shelter. Our mission is to ease the burden of being homeless. We provide a place for people to get out of the weather, take a shower, wash their laundry, pick up mail, use the phone, eat, and be part of a community. We believe that each person is deserving of respect and human dignity.
Corpus Commons in Boise, Idaho is a daytime drop-in homeless shelter that comes out of the tradition of Dorothy Day and her Catholic Worker movement and has expanded with participation of the Boise Community and support from local churches of various denominations. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission is to serve the homeless.

Donate
One of the amazing things about Corpus Commons is that we rely heavily on donations to run our daily operations. There is no way we could provide for the needs of the homeless without the generous people who remember us.

Corpus Commons could not operate without the support of our community volunteers. Since the opening of our doors we have had a wonderful crew of people helping us run our program.
